I’m Anubhav Srivastava, Co-Founder of Uptales, a VocaTales company.
After two decades in business and tech leadership, I stepped away from the corporate world to serve the creative community — the story builders. In my eyes, they are one of the most undervalued forces on the planet. Society often treats creativity as a hobby or entertainment, yet forgets that stories are the most human thing we have. So here’s a truth I believe in with my whole heart:
Writers, creators, and storytellers are architects of meaning. Stories shape culture, identity, belief, and possibility. And every storyteller deserves support.
As I began writing my own novel and building VocaTales, an all-in-one storytelling platform, I realized I wasn’t alone in my struggles. I kept running into the same wall — both as a writer and as a founder — the wall every serious creator eventually hits:
“Is my story good?” “Will anyone care?” “Where can I find someone I can trust to help me level up?”
At the same time, I also run The Writers Forum — one of the largest online writing communities of writers, and storytellers (now over a quarter million strong). And no matter who they were — beginners, founders, authors, marketers, or screenwriters — the pain was universal:
